Guy Nordenson has been awarded the “Premio Mario Pani 2008” given by the School of Architecture at the University of Anahuac in honor of the Mexican architect best known for the UNAM and the Ciudad Satélite in Mexico City. The award was established in 1992 and is given to professionals who “promote action and entrepreneurial excellence in architectural design”. Nordenson is the first non-architect to be awarded this prize. Past recipients include Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA, Dominique Perrault, Peter Eisenman, and Teodoro Gonzalez de Leon.
